ABOUT US Limelight Theatre School, now in its eight year, is a part-time theatre school addressing the needs of young people for professional training and guidance in all aspects of theatre, drama, music and dance. We previously had three centres in Hertfordshire but currently operate from Potters Bar during the school term times, as well as holiday workshops during vacation periods. Limelight, originally set up by Paul Hull-Tullah, is now run by Paul, and highly skilled professional performer/teachers, who will provide the all-round training that today's theatre workplace demands. The teachers at Limelight Theatre School are amongst the most experienced professionals in the business and are actively working on professional productions throughout the year. This brings a richness and extra wealth of experience to the school environment. As well as drama, music and dance classes, Limelight will place an emphasis on bringing other working professionals into the school to share their skills e.g. make-up artists mime and circus skills, stage combat and stage management. We aim to introduce guest teachers in specialist areas. We will also arrange theatre visits and keep casting agents up to date with our pupils abilities. Our main aim though is to set up regular shows, presented in professional theatres. But don't listen to what we have to say, here are some comments made by our students. |
